Many music fans will tell you that the 1970's and 1980's were two decades of the most artistic, soulful and passionate music ever written and broadcast.
Those years gave us unforgettable performances from such artists as Journey, Deep Purple, Neil Young, Jefferson Airplane, Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Tom Petty . . . and so many more.
Let me introduce you to Radiogypsies.
They are a five piece band of seasoned musicians who love the music of that era and perform it exceptionally well. It is a show that appeals to audiences of all ages, for many to relive the cherished memories of those years, and for others to enjoy the experience anew.
Kathy MacFeat - Lead Vocals
Kathy started singing at age 7, participated in school chorus, and entered many talent shows and competitions. After graduation, she launched a career in vocal performance in classic rock and country music genres. Her influences include Tina Turner, Meat Loaf, Martina McBride, Geoff Tate, and of course Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks.
She has performed with the notable regional act County Line, opening for national acts Ronnie McDowell, Kitty Wells and Tanya Tucker, and in venues such as the Jim Ed Brown Americana Theatre and the Grand Ole Opry, Kixtart and Conviction, and is currently performing in the amazing Stevie Nicks Tribute band, Nicks In Time.
Rich Johnson - Lead Guitar and Vocals
Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Rich knew from an early age that he wanted to play music. His early projects included HyJinx, which produced a two song EP, and Virgin Steel which played local nightclubs in the Essex / Dundalk area of Maryland. Later on, Rich formed a new band called “Maniax” - a heavy metal favorite in Maryland and Pennsylvania, and later, “Decadence” who recorded a two song EP which got air play on Baltimore’s 97 Underground radio station.
After moving to Pennsylvania in 1990, he formed a new band Comatoast - a hard edged speed metal band blending heavy originals and the most current heavy metal songs from the likes of Metallica, Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. More recently, he teamed up with Kathy MacFeat to perform acoustic duo shows locally, an act known as Radiogypsies. Fans and venues asked for a full band version of the show, leading into this five piece ensemble now known as the Radiogypsies Band.

Over the years, he has performed with several prominent regional rock bands including Sensei, Aura, Staggerwing, Scott Free and Firestorm, and is currenty performing with Kathy in the amazing Stevie Nicks tribute band Nicks In Time. He's earned a solid reputation for his synthesizer soundcrafting, faithfully recreating the sounds of the artists he covers.
